We tried 6 of Brooklyn Lab blends: Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Manhattan and Brooklyn. We had previously been a (5 lb. bag) subscriber to Stumptown’s Hair Bender blend and loved it.
But Stumptown got WAY too expensive, so I shopped around to try to find a coffee that I liked as much as Hair Bender.
After trying those six blends from Brooklyn Lab (all were very good), one stood out: their excellent Brooklyn Blend! My wife and I chose it for its rich, full flavor and for the nice coffee energy boost it provides.
We just happen to live in Brooklyn, but that’s not why it’s our favorite. We also love the 5 lb. subscription price (about half the cost of what we were paying with Stumptown). We are a very satisfied Brooklyn Lab subscriber family.
My hope is that the price won’t escalate as drastically as it did with our Stumptown subscription.

I’m loving my Peruvian blend coffee! So glad to get it in the mail without hunting for it in stores, and at a reasonable price. It smelled wonderful right out of the box and it’s my favorite way to start the day. I brew it in a moka pot and the grind is perfect — fine but not too fine. I make a cortado with warmed milk and/or half and half. I’m happy!

Having lived in South Texas for over 50 years I thought I knew what black gold was until I discovered Brooklyn Coffee! This coffee is the best I've had and the subscription service makes it even better! Thank you Brooklyn Coffee!!!!

Love the coffee (dark roast). It’s strong and bold yet rich and not at all bitter. Really one of the most perfect blends available.

Subscription logistics I have two suggestions. First is to ship in small sealed bags instead of cardboard boxes. Second is if you ever need to pause for a week, the login process to the website is a little convoluted (you have to verify through email every time). This should be changed to a username/password.

i get my delivery on time - every three weeks - and it is within a few days of being roasted. The Brooklyn Blend is my favorite.
