Been drinking your Columbian for many, many years. When the roast is on point (there is a delicate roasting tipping point between too light and too dark, I imagine) it is dark enough to be rich and grounding yet not burnt, and not so light as to be sour and shallow, this coffee is unlike any I've ever found elsewhere. This last batch (i'm out of state now so must buy many bags at a time) was finally, spot on after several months of being too dark - so that all I could taste was burnt tones and the melodic sweetness + rich nuttiness did not come through at all. I wish I could have known this was the bell ringer because I'd have purchased so many more bags. My dream is that you will find a way to make it always consistent roasting for this bean - when the bean just hints at an emergent shimmer yet not fully darkened and sweating out its burnt oils. This is the magic roast for this bean! I will nonetheless keep buying your beans! Thank you!

It arrived super fast. Roasted fresh, it smelled so good when we opened the bag. Traditional fresh coffee roast. It was wonderful I’ve been enjoying all well! I will be reaching out again to try more!
The fact that these beans are roasted to order and at the price point they are is an incredible value. Compared to other coffee subscriptions, the cost of a 5-lb bag with Brooklyn Lab is half the price of something mediocre like Stumptown. My spouse and I are not coffee snobs, but we do like good beans and good brews. We primarily use an Oxo 8-cup auto drip, pour-overs and Aeropress pours. These beans do the job at an unbeatable value.
Organic, roast to ship, fresh, tasty, and affordable. What is not to like here? No brainer especially if you are a new yorker.
Pleased as usual with the Brazil roast. I love low acidity coffee and this delivers.
There’s so many online places to buy coffee beans, but BL beans are so fresh and have a great taste I’ll just keep buying theirs.
